I have been using boxpn vpn service for about 5 months. It has been great so far. I mostly use it for when I’m travelling in Canada to stream HULU or Netflix. Speed is awesome. They also provide great support.

In search of a reliable VPN-provider, the weight of the many positive reviews on this site was
significant to me.  I use StrongVPN now and plan buy a second package to fulfill all my needs.

It works flawless and I notice no problems concerning speed loss or instabilty.
Towards my application bandwidth is of lesser importance however, I do not apply it to download
so I can’t say anything about that.

Help (support) is splendid.
The operators are professional and friendly.
Experienced and interested as they are, they will help you out in no time.

But they’re also needed.
The interface (there actually isn’t any real interface) is not always that clear. Some things are
pretty well hidden and certain people (noobs like me) may find themselves happy support is
so accurate.
A bit dissapointing is that there is a limit on the times one can switch to another server.
Maybe it was announced and I just didn’t read well enough. To me it was unexpected
that I will have to pay extra for switches once a limit is exceeded.
The switching is not at all as easy as announced.
It has to be done manually (at least once for most people to ged rid of the standard US-
server which is appointed after the initial setup). But it is not a big deal eather, and there’s
always support …
A bit of reading and understanding has to be done. The site seemed willing to offer me
a one-month account but in the end I had to buy three months at least. Ok, just the usual
commercial sh*t, but still regrettable for a provider which certainly can be described as
serious and reliable.
About the same commercial humbug is an automated offer I received shortly after my
subscription.
It stated that I would be given a 15 USD discount if I brought in a new subscriber on
their VPN. Since I already was planning a second VPN I asked whether the discount
would be submitted if I brought myself in. The new account would have to be payed
for normally as if it was from anyone else. It was rejected, friendly but absolutely.
Why don’t they just leave this kind of commerce away, it only has negative impact
while technically their product is quite ok.
Before subscribing to StrongVPN I had contact with other providers (also found
here on the site but apparently removed in the mean time) and at least one of them
was obviously fraudulent. So I believe all that false advertising only causes
inconvenience and distrust and is not needed by a quality supplier.

I recommend StrongVPN.
- It is not the cheapest provider but it works and support is great.
- See trough the advertising (it seems to be normal on the net nowadays).
- Do not worry because the setup and switching have to be done manually (even though
  the advertising states ‘easy switching’). It is not that hard after all.
- Trustworthyness of StrongVPN is my argument in favor of them. And probably the most
  important there is.

Being a not technical person it was extremely easy to download and install. Using Clear VPN is even easier and gives us most more access to the internet, especially for watching tv shows and movies. Thanks for the excellent service.

I stated that I have doubts because of so many bad comments
on the internet.
Their reply today definitely took away my last doubt :
(even in this sentence usually made by children at the age of 6,
they wrote errors which I haven’t copied here)

i’m using BlackVPN from Germany and am very satisfied with the quality of their service.
Especially the option to choose between PPTP, L2TP and OpenSSL is great to me.
I am using the US package and can say that it just works!

VPNtraffic is offered cheap compared to other providers.
It also offers Belgian VPN which others don’t (and maybe should
make one wonder).
Therefore I decided to go for this service.

I read a little further however, and right before I was about to pay,
I came onto this site with reviews.
The comments here really scared me off.
So, just to ease my mind, I send VPNtraffic a very simple question.
The way communication establishes usually exposes a lot off the
people you’re dealing with in my opinion.

It was terrifying.
Whatever problem occurs these people will NOT be able nor willing
to help you out. Selling and nothing else seems to be what matters.

I can’t confirm the messages above which tell us it’s a scam or
other kind of fraud since I finally did not buy. I do confirm that the
communication is of such poor quality that all kinds of questions
arise about the capability of VPNtraffic.
I do not advise anyone to risk money on them.
Their free trial which I did not install is only valid for one hour by the way.
 

I just tried their Australia location. The speed is good but it is a little pricey.
I think their L2TP connection is better than PPTP

I am new to this VPN service, but from What I’ve experimented so far (just close to one month to use it) I really recommend this service.  I beleive that it has to be plain simple and with soon response to requirements.  I will renew my contract for one year, and feel confident that I can trust them.  I have configured all my home network to use this system and it works perfectly.

I’m a long time user of BlackVPN and am happy with the service. I live abroad and use the UK package so I can watch content on the BBC’s iPlayer. I’ve found it to be reliable and good value.

I live in Argentina and been using BlackVPN US and UK package for almost a month now and i have to say that it works pretty well. I’m using it speacially to watch hetflix movies that do not appear on the local website, so I’m happy. I will certainly renew my membership.

If you are really a heavy user, I would take their 12-month Unlim for 99.99 euro – it is a 35% discount off the regular monthly price, plus no worry you run out of money some day…

Their support is yes sometimes slow, but I did not notice it is slower than support of any other provider…

If you are a new one – they ahve a solution – this 1 euro/year package – it’s enough to have 50Mb (!) a day to check Facebook and Twitter if your sysadmin or gov’t blocks social networks…

Ivacy support is slow sometimes answerting non-standard qiestions, but overall i like what they provide… I got this 3-month subscription Unlim XXL and it works fine with me… It is in fact cheaper than the traffic package they have, when you pay ONLY (;) 0.5 euro per Gb, in fact it can turn into really a lot

This VPN is garbage. Their payment processors are useless. You have:

1 – Plimus for CC’s which make you jump through a number of hoops or just reject your CC. Google Plimus!!

2 – PayPla, which sends them a payment but they do NOT acknowledge it. In other words, IVACY is a scam.

3 – UKash, which is not available in most countries.

4 – MicroPayment which is not available for most users.

Other than that, they do not support their customers, they do not answer e-mails, they do not do ANYTHING to help you. Their web software is incomplete and full of bugs. Their servers go up and down like yo-yos, and don’t get me started on latency. STAY AWAY!!!

I am an old customer of MonkeyVPN and it generally worked fine. You can cancel their VPN subscription directly on your PayPal account, they dont have your credit card as they use PayPal.

I agree with both HnK and Guest above. I also suddenly started having problems in November after using Astrill for several months in China. I talked to their support numerous times, but every time would get different people, most of whom seemed to have limited knowledge of the challenges here in China, and who would all give me similar advice to try the same 3 or 4 things I’d already tried numerous times. I suspect Astrill is going the way of every other VPN in China–the more successful they are, the quicker the guardians of the Great Firewall will figure it out and start shutting down ports, and/or throttle the speed going to certain IP addresses, basically whatever they can do to make using a VPN as inconvenient as possible. I think the Internet controllers here have become more sophisticated now, and may not use the method of completely blocking a VPN service; rather, while you can still sign on, they now throttle your speed to the point it is almost unusable. 

Worst service ever. Despite saying they have a server in Switzerland, they dont have. Their refund policy sucks. Stay away from them. There are many more, much better ones out there.

I used them for three months.  In the beginning they were great, but then there service would not work at all and they could not fix it.  One day it was there and the next day it was gone.  They refused to refund a pro rata amount of my payment and just stop communicating with me in trying to solve the problem.  I suggest staying away from them

I do not agree with you, and I might actually go as far as to say that I suspect something in your configuration must have been set up wrong?

- Using linux/mac/pc ?
- The latest updated version of Tunnelblick or some other openVPN software?
- Properly forwarded your router?
- Firewalls allowing your VPN software to run properly?
- Contacted vpntunnel support?

I am very very positive about this VPN provider, they promise 99.7% uptime, and they are living up to that promise. Very cheap and easy to use!
A couple of my friends are having a little trouble using the VPN software they provide for Windows, but an alternative solution works great

I am so happy to have VPN that consistently works in China. It’s been a hassle to find a reliable but not too expensive product like theirs. When i had a small issue in downloading the installer (completely my fault, i didn’t follow the instructions in order) their customer service chat line was excellent. The agent I spoke to was both very polite, and extremely helpful, by activating my account for me, and giving me the link for the installer. I will definitely continue to use this product in the future. 

rubbish. useless.  software very difficult to get it to install and it crashes IE and firefox. says you are connected but my ip address was still clearly visible on the internet – so it just does not work. warning – it also downloads and installs dotnet35 without asking you first.
tried to get it to work by using the MS wizard but just says unable to connect to their server.
Is this a genuine website or just a scam of some sort ?

I’ve been a user of BLACKVPN for over 2 years. I’m based in Ireland and use the UK package – allowing me to watch all BBC TV programmes – a great addition to my tv viewing – especially when I miss an episode of something.

Finally I can open those social network websites. I love PureVPN. 

I was never able to use this product. They don’t have one click install, you need to go in to your computer’s control panel AND change your router settings to use PrivacyIO’s VPN. Counter intuitive. “Hi library or communist regime, can I change your router settings? I need to install PrivacyIO so that I can access unapproved content.” I guess that is why the price is so low, not worth getting your blood pressure over a $7 charge. Hint…Search for a company that doesn’t log and doesn’t need router access to configure.

HMA works well for me because for one price you get access to all server locations and countries, this allows me to improve my online marketing and analyse how my campaigns are doing in other countries.

Incredibly quick and helpful customer service!

I purchased their product a couple of days ago and still have not been able to connect. Frustrating experience so far and customer support has a 1 day lag and then they reply to my detailed inquiry with a useless one line response. I’ll try for another couple of hours and then chalk it up to you get what you pay for and this has been crap.

Use it since two weeks. Nothing to say. HMA is simply perfect and so easy to use !!!

An excellent service, hassle free set-up following the user guides provided make it simple to use whether on my laptop or Ipad.  Not experienced any problems whatsoever when watching streaming video via the BlackVPN servers.  For the price, you really can’t have any complaints!

although they have this 99.95 for the entire year, i still believe the 3-month deal is the best as soon as you do not need to use VPN/proxy for the entire year…
